1. Who we are

Valeur AS
Org. no. 932 177 013
Hegdehaugsveien 14B
0167 Oslo
Norway
General support: support@evig.co
Privacy and data requests: privacy@evig.co
In this Privacy Policy, “Evig”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Valeur AS.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Valeur AS is the data controller for the personal data we process in connection with Evig, except where another party is clearly acting as an independent controller.
2. What Evig does
Evig allows event guests and participants to record and upload short videos to a shared event using a unique event token. Valeur AS then uses selected submitted videos to create an edited event highlight film for the customer or event holder.
The Evig app does not require users to create an account or log in with a name, email address, phone number, or social media account.
3. Important summary
Evig does not sell personal data.
Evig does not show ads.
Evig does not use personal data for advertising tracking.
Evig does not require app users to create an account.
Evig does not collect app users’ names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, location, health data, or payment information through the app.
However, Evig does collect certain data when the app is used, including submitted videos and audio, event tokens, and a device/vendor identifier called IDFV. Submitted videos and audio may contain personal data, including faces, voices, names, speeches, or other information that can identify people.

We use this information to provide the service, manage uploads, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.

social media profile information.
If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and any App Store privacy disclosures as required.
7. App permissions
The Evig app may request access to the camera and microphone so that users can record videos.
The app may also request access to the photo library or camera roll where this is necessary for the user to save videos locally on their own device or use related device features.
We do not access the camera, microphone, or photo library unless the user grants the relevant permission through their device settings.
Videos are uploaded only when the user chooses to submit them.
8. Data we collect from customers and event holders
When a customer purchases an Evig package or interacts with our web shop, we may collect:

12. Legal bases under GDPR
We process personal data only where we have a legal basis to do so.
Depending on the situation, we rely on the following legal bases.
Contract
We process customer data where necessary to sell, set up, deliver, and support an Evig package purchased by the customer.
This includes purchase details, event details, billing information, communication, delivery, and support.
Consent
Where an app user chooses to record, preview, and submit a video, we process that submitted video for the purpose of providing the Evig service.
Where processing is based on consent, the person may withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that happened before the withdrawal.
Legitimate interests
We may process data where necessary for our legitimate interests, provided those interests are not overridden by individual rights and freedoms.
Our legitimate interests include:
providing the Evig service;
creating and delivering event videos;
preventing abuse and malicious submissions;
grouping videos from the same device for security and deletion handling;
maintaining technical security;
handling customer support;
protecting our legal rights;
managing business operations.
Legal obligation
We process certain customer, transaction, tax, accounting, and business records where required by law.
13. Videos of other people
Submitted videos may include people who are not the app user and who may not have directly interacted with Evig.
App users and customers are responsible for ensuring that they have any permission, consent, or legal basis required to record and submit videos of other people.
Customers are responsible for informing guests and participants that videos may be submitted through Evig, edited by Valeur AS, and included in a final event video.
Valeur AS may remove, reject, or delete submitted videos where we believe they are unlawful, abusive, privacy-invasive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with our Terms & Conditions.
14. Children
Evig is not intended for children under 13.
If a person is under the age required to legally agree to our Terms & Conditions in their country, they may only use Evig with permission from a parent or guardian.
Customers should take appropriate care when inviting minors to use Evig or when videos may include children.
15. Sharing of personal data
We may share personal data with service providers and subcontractors where necessary to provide Evig.
This may include:
Firebase and Google Cloud services for app hosting, storage, Firestore, authentication, app check, and related infrastructure;
Squarespace for website, commerce, checkout, and forms;
payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Vipps, and other payment methods available at checkout;
editors, color graders, sound mixers, and other subcontractors working on behalf of Valeur AS;
hosting, storage, delivery, email, and support providers;
legal, accounting, tax, or professional advisers where necessary;
public authorities where required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share personal data with advertising networks for tracking.
16. Subcontractors and production partners
Valeur AS may use full-time workers, part-time workers, subcontractors, editors, color graders, sound mixers, and other production partners to create and deliver the final edited video.
These people may access submitted videos, audio, project files, and customer information only where necessary to provide the service.
We expect people working for or on behalf of Valeur AS to handle personal data responsibly and only for the purposes of providing Evig.
17. Firebase, storage, and security
We use Firebase and Google Cloud services to operate parts of the Evig app and backend, including storage of submitted videos and related event data.
Submitted videos may be stored in Firebase Cloud Storage. Event and upload-related data may be stored in Firestore or related Firebase services.
Firebase and Google Cloud provide security features such as encryption in transit and infrastructure-level security controls. We also use access controls intended to limit access to submitted videos and event data.
However, no online service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
18. International transfers
We are based in Norway, but some of our service providers may process or store data in other countries.
Where personal data is transferred outside Norway, the EEA, or another jurisdiction with adequate data protection rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law. These may include standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, data processing agreements, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
19. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Submitted videos
Submitted videos may be stored while the project is active, during editing, during customer review, and until the final video has been delivered and accepted.
Raw submitted videos are normally deleted manually after project completion and acceptance.
We reserve the right to keep submitted videos for up to 24 months, depending on project duration, editing time, revisions, delivery, technical issues, legal needs, or other legitimate business reasons.
Final videos
Final videos may be available through a delivery link for a limited time, normally 30 days after delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
After final delivery, Valeur AS cannot control copies already downloaded, saved, shared, or published by the customer or others.
Customer and order data
Customer, order, invoice, payment, tax, and accounting information may be kept for as long as necessary to provide the service, handle support, comply with legal obligations, maintain business records, and resolve disputes.
Contact form and support messages
Messages sent to us may be kept for as long as necessary to respond, provide support, document the communication, and protect our legal rights.
Device/vendor identifier
IDFV or related upload identifiers may be kept for as long as necessary to group submitted videos, prevent abuse, handle deletion requests, secure the service, and manage the relevant project.
20. Deletion requests
Privacy and deletion requests should be sent to:
privacy@evig.co
To help us locate relevant uploads, we may need information such as:
the event token;
the device/vendor identifier;
approximate upload time;
event name or event date;
any other information needed to identify the relevant submissions.
Because Evig does not use personal app accounts, we may not be able to identify a person’s submitted videos without the event token and device/vendor identifier.
If a deletion request relates to videos submitted from a specific device, deletion may result in all videos linked to that device and event being deleted. We may not be able to delete only one individual video if it cannot be reliably identified.
If deletion is requested before final delivery and the request can be verified and fulfilled, the relevant videos may be excluded from the final edited video.
After final delivery, we cannot control copies of the final video already delivered to the customer or copies shared by the customer or others.
21. Your GDPR and EEA rights
If GDPR or similar data protection laws apply to you, you may have the following rights:
the right to access your personal data;
the right to correct inaccurate personal data;
the right to request deletion of personal data;
the right to restrict processing;
the right to object to processing;
the right to data portability, where applicable;
the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
the right to complain to a data protection authority.
To exercise your rights, contact:
privacy@evig.co
We may need to verify your request before responding.
Some rights may be limited where we need to keep data for legal reasons, complete a contract, protect the rights of others, maintain security, establish or defend legal claims, or where we cannot identify the relevant data without additional information.
If you are in Norway, you may contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
22. App Store privacy information
For Apple App Store privacy purposes, the Evig app may collect:

technical data necessary for upload, storage, security, and app functionality.
Evig does not use this data to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Evig does not use this data for third-party advertising.
Evig does not sell this data.
The data is used for app functionality, event video submission, video processing, security, abuse prevention, support, deletion handling, and service delivery.
23. Tracking and advertising

Evig does not use IDFA for advertising tracking.
Evig does not use personal data to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Evig does not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
24. Analytics and diagnostics
Evig does not intentionally use analytics or advertising tracking tools.
If we later add analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, or similar tools, we will update this Privacy Policy and any required App Store privacy disclosures.
25. Public sharing by customers
The final edited video is delivered to the customer for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers are responsible for how and where they share, publish, upload, or display the final video after delivery.
Customers are also responsible for ensuring that their use of the final video complies with applicable privacy, copyright, music, platform, and other legal requirements.
26. Third-party links and services
The Evig website, checkout, payment flow, delivery flow, or support communication may involve third-party services.
Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties acting as independent controllers.
27. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy.
